This recipe can be used as a marinade, or as a sauce. If using as a marinade though, do not reuse the leftover marinade after it has been marinated raw meats. Discard after marinading, and create a new recipe to serve table side.
Adobo Marinade
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
- 3 chipotle chiles canned
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Instructions

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

Marinade pork from 2 to 24 hours in refrigerator before cooking, discarding any leftover marinade.
