The longer the meat is marinated, the deeper the red-purple color of the meat from the marinade.
Italian Red Wine Marinade
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups hearty red wine such as Shiraz
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning mixed herbs
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
