Here’s a recipe courtesy from the Hotdog and Sausage Council to top your next hotdog or braut. It is a sweet and sour relish with sauerkraut, mustard, and spices.

Sauerkraut Relish for Hotdogs and Sausage
Ingredients
  • 1 8 ounce jar or can of sauerkraut rinsed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
  2. Serve.
